Abhay Kumar Singh is a Software Engineering Professional with over 15 years of experience in all phases of SDLC. He is highly skilled in conceptualizing business needs and translating them into viable technical solutions. Currently, Abhay is working as a Principal Software Engineer at Rubicon Water, which has over 70 customers across the globe. His role involves automating water management from source to farm property using field devices to IoT devices (SCADA system architecture). Abhay also works towards minimizing water supply-demand gap by increasing the efficiency of water use. He has developed an irrigation department staff and/or farmers' app/portal to monitor and/or order water. Abhay is responsible for real-time crop & device monitoring, control field devices at remote sites like water level, soil moisture, weather stations, rain gauges, water meter, water flow, flow control, and monitor and control on map real-time, plan irrigation, schedule irrigation, plan rostering, automatic water delivery. He also manages event/alarm management, secure, scalable, and reliable tarifs, rates & invoicing management. Abhay has previously worked as a Software Architect at Amdocs, where he designed new product initiatives based on the Microservices (MS360) framework. He was also a Security Architect for the implementation of S-SDLC involving Threat modeling, secure design review, secure code review, and security awareness. Abhay was responsible for analyzing the user stories, user story grooming, and effort estimation. He designed and developed new features, overall solution designing, and reviewed design docs and release notes. Abhay also mentored the team and implemented CI/CD, DevOps, automated code quality, static code analysis, FOSS scan, and PT. Abhay has also worked as a Sr. Technical Lead at Mahindra Comviva Technologies Ltd, where he analyzed the specifications provided by the clients and participated in interaction with clients and business users to finalize the requirements. He was involved in drawing of Class, Flow & Sequence Diagrams, and design and development for new/change requests. Abhay also reviewed the design doc and code review, release note review, and OS, DB, JVM parameters tuning, and Java Code optimization. He was a key stakeholder in solution designing as per the required system capacity and coordinated in UAT and implementation phase, project coordination & team mentoring.
